Automatic Signal Control keeps the network in its sweet spot despite volume-driven noise rise.

Extended and Automatic Signal Control

Automatic Signal Control (ASC) adds the ability to adjust the signal on the receive path to the performance benefits of spectrum conditioning to maintain gain improvements and take control of challenging RF situations. PurePass® Digital Signal Processing and automatically controlled gain and attenuation are  integrated in a single solution to provide a way to reduce the noise rise often seen during heavy concentrations of traffic or high data usage, while simultaneously protecting the system from interference.

ASC monitors RSSI and automatically adjusts to stay within the desired range. Extended Signal Control (ESC) provides similar capabilities but manually configured by RF performance engineers or other SON management systems.
