Gordon Reichard, Jr
Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Reichard joined ISCO as Chief Executive Officer in March 2008. During his tenure at ISCO the Company has achieved profitable operations, steadily increased sales and expanded its product and service offerings. Under Gordon, the Company has introduced its new all-digital signal processing platform expanding the addressable market to include 4G LTE and International opportunities. Additional expansion initiatives included diversification into software solutions and services.
Gordon began his career as an electrical engineer in 1981 at the ground floor of the technology and communication products industry. Throughout his successful career he has gained significant experience in sales, sales engineering, product management, business development, customer service and executive management in both service and product companies.
In 1999 Gordon founded Telenisus Corporation, a managed infrastructure services provider delivering Internet and network security services to business customers, and served as its President and CEO. Prior to Telenisus, Gordon spent 8 years with Ameritech concluding his career there as President and General Manager of Ameritech's successful Advanced Data Services business. In addition Mr. Reichard has worked at Westell as VP of Marketing, the Magis Group as a management consultant and US Robotics / 3Com in various marketing roles.
Gordon holds his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Southern Illinois University and an MBA from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management. He has given back to the community by donating his time to help young people prepare to become successful adults at ITT, ChicagoTech Academy in addition to numerous other youth sport organizations.
Amr Abdelmonem, PhD
Chief Technology Officer/Chief Operating Officer
Dr. Amr Abdelmonem is the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Technology Officer of ISCO International. He is responsible for the technical vision and defining the optimal direction of the technology and strategic partnership efforts with wireless service and equipment providers.
Amr has more than 100 US and International patents. Based on his inventions, which are at the cutting edge of wireless networks interference technology, ISCO has recently been named by CRAINS as Top 10 Most Innovative Companies in Chicagoland 4 years in a row.
Amr invented a new technique for optimizing commercial wireless networks. This patented invention facilitates operators in deploying self-optimizing network (SON) and 5G technologies. With a blend of outstanding technical skills and business acumen, he has developed business solutions including C-RAN concepts for monitoring and managing networks and PIM solutions for Tier 1 US wireless operators, creating several $500 million market opportunities and managing global sites across China, Korea, Japan and Canada as well as the US. Amr built a team that accelerated the development of key 4G and 5G LTE software and hardware solutions. Amr was also in charge of the implementation of the first successful worldwide field trial of a superconductor filter in a cellular base station.
Amr has vast experience with sourcing hardware from the Far East. He also has done business with many International wireless players in Europe, Japan, India and the Middle East.
Prior to joining ISCO, Amr held teaching positions in academia.
Dr. Abdelmonem holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from University of Maryland. He has more than 25 years of experience in RF and wireless.
Dr. Abdelmonem is an IEEE Senior Member; he has published numerous papers for industry conferences and trade journals. He serves on the boards of several non-profit organizations.
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Berger joined the Company in June 2008 as Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary. From 2007 through May 2008, Mr. Berger was employed by Hilco Appraisal Services, a business asset valuation services company. Previously, Mr. Berger was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Barrington-based Orius Corporation from February 2003 through June 2006, and provided consulting services through May 2007. He joined Orius in October 2001 as Vice President- Operations Finance. As the Chief Financial Officer of Orius, Mr. Berger was responsible for all aspects of Accounting, Administration, Finance, Human Resources, Legal and Risk Management. Prior to his time at Orius, Mr. Berger held various financial leadership positions at SBC/Ameritech (now AT&T), with his final position as Vice President Finance for the Public Communications business unit; Esmark and Deloitte & Touche. He is a CPA and a member of the AICPA and Illinois CPA Society. Gary has an M.B.A. (Finance) from DePaul University in Chicago and a B.S. in Accounting from Illinois State University.
From 1994 - 2012, Gary was a member of the Governing Board of SuperSibs, a national non-profit providing support to siblings of pediatric cancer patients, where he served as Treasurer for 2 years and Chair for 4 years.
VP Product Management and Business Development
Mr. Pitsoulakis is Vice President of Product Management and Business Development at ISCO International. He has over 25 years of telecommunications industry experience. George most recently was at Call One, a CLEC in Chicago, where he served as Director of Operations and Product Management. At U.S. Cellular as Director Systems Planning and Implementation, he led teams focused on planning and roll out of services in the network including 4G LTE. George has co-chaired the broadband forum’s working group for TR-069, now deployed on hundreds of millions of devices worldwide as Product Line Director at Westell. He has also held positions in RF engineering, strategy and Systems Engineering at operators and OEMs including: GTE (Verizon), Northrop Grumman and Panduit. George holds three patents and has an MBA and Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago.
